BARKERY BITES
Our concept for Barkery Bites is to produce tasty, healthy, wholesome treats for dogs that have flavours they will love. All the flavours we have selected have been taste-tested by our dogs for whom we have been baking for years. They love them all and of course they have their favourite favourites. My husband Eddie is the main baker and takes pride in the production and packaging of all the biscuits. We use our dog Jess as our emblem on our stickers; we saved her from a shelter in England and brought her back over to South Africa with us.
Ingredients
All our main ingredients have been sourced to be healthiest for our dogs and while being as environmentally conscious as possible. We use whole-wheat flour, which is much healthier for the dogs’ digestion. Our honey is a pure, natural honey that is badger friendly from a farm in the Western Cape. Our eggs are free-range and we use the best quality vegetable oil. We use 100% pure oats and have added no sugar or salts into our mixes. It took us a long time to source a natural mould inhibitor that we liked, but we believe it will not take anything away from the taste of the biscuits, but preserve them in healthy way.

My Italian Greyhound receive a pack of Cheese & Garlic flavour and she seems to really like them . They smell quite good too. Doesn't really seem like she has garlic breath, just dog breath.
There is conflicting information about garlic and dogs, but these seem nutritious and are worth a try.
